無限期延遲上市，Galaxy Fold 將會找到問題並解決

如同前陣子的消息，三星針對 Galaxy Fold 宣布無限期延遲發售計畫

並於方才發出新聞稿，全球媒體都同一時間收到，雖然對已經訂購的消費者來說，可能會感到失望

但在發售之前，能確認問題並找出問題，把產品做好才給消費者，確實是品牌廠應有的天職

幸好，這次是在開賣前就找到問題，沒有釀成Note7 事件。

我們近期發表了全新型態的行動裝置：一款結合嶄新技術與材質的摺疊螢幕手機。我們深受 Galaxy Fold 掀起的熱烈氛圍所鼓舞。
 
許多評論者與我們分享他們在產品上所見到無窮潛力，也有部份向我們傳達該裝置應如何改進，以獲得最佳用戶體驗。
 
為全面評估這些意見回饋並進一步內部測試，我們決定延後 Galaxy Fold 上市時間，並將於未來幾周內公佈日期。
 
關於螢幕的初步調查結果顯示，可能來自於鉸鏈頂部與底部外露區域所受的影響。另有一例，其裝置內部發現的物質，影響顯示螢幕的性能表現。

We recently unveiled a completely new mobile category: a smartphone using multiple new technologies and materials to create a display that is flexible enough to fold. We are encouraged by the excitement around the Galaxy Fold.

While many reviewers shared with us the vast potential they see, some also showed us how the device needs further improvements that could ensure the best possible user experience.

To fully evaluate this feedback and run further internal tests, we have decided to delay the release of the Galaxy Fold. We plan to announce the release date in the coming weeks.

Initial findings from the inspection of reported issues on the display showed that they could be associated with impact on the top and bottom exposed areas of the hinge. There was also an instance where substances found inside the device affected the display performance.

We will take measures to strengthen the display protection. We will also enhance the guidance on care and use of the display including the protective layer so that our customers get the most out of their Galaxy Fold.
